Chat Builder is a Socialknocks feature that automatically replies to customer DMs and comments on Instagram, Facebook and Threads. You write one reply (or start from the one drafted from your Brand Kit), add up to three buttons, and switch it on. It only replies to people who contact you first.
One reply for the messages and comments that land on your Instagram, Facebook and Threads accounts, around the clock.
We draft your default reply from your business name, website and phone. Pick a tone: Friendly, Professional, Playful or Luxury.
Add {name} and each reply greets the customer by first name.
Up to three buttons: open a link, start a WhatsApp chat or call you.
See replies sent, people reached and link clicks over the last 7 days.
Replies only to people who contact you first, with flood protection, a daily cap and a master on/off switch.
Chat Builder works where your customers already talk to you. Threads has no DM interface, so Threads replies are comment replies only.

Instagram (DMs and comments), Facebook (Messenger and Page comments) and Threads (replies to your own posts). Threads has no DM interface, so Threads replies are comment replies only. WhatsApp and Telegram are coming soon.
No. Chat Builder only replies to people who message or comment on your accounts first. It never sends broadcasts or unsolicited messages.
Yes. Add up to three buttons to your reply: a link, a WhatsApp chat or a call button. Links are tracked so you can see how many people clicked.
Chat Builder has built-in limits: it never replies to your own account, replies once per contact per 24 hours, stays within each platform's messaging window, pauses a conversation if someone sends a burst of messages, and applies a daily cap. You can switch it off any time.
Chat Builder is included in the paid Socialknocks plans and is not part of the Free plan. It is currently in Beta, and availability on Facebook, Instagram and Threads is rolling out as platform approvals complete. See the pricing page for details.
